Job Description

Our client is a successful and highly respected international wealth management firm, with offices across Europe, UK and Canada, who is seeking a Marketing Consultant to develop the company brand.

Reporting to the board of directors, you will be the first point of call for marketing needs across the organisation, as well as identifying and implementing new strategies.

You will have excellent demonstrable experience in a similar role within Financial Services.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of the brand strategy.

  • Developing & delivering the marketing strategy for new and existing financial products.

  • Overseeing marketing strategy implementation - including campaigns, events, and digital marketing (SEO, paid search, social media, content strategies and PR).

  • Identifying user needs by deeply understanding our customers and how our product works globally to create data-driven, actionable insights for product teams.

  • Independently driving impactful go-to-market launch strategies by owning the development of audience strategy, value proposition, messaging, positioning, and PR strategies.

  • Developing research plans to uncover customer insights, steer & validate the product roadmap, and stay on top of the competitive landscape.

  • Working closely with product and marketing teams to brief them on the user insights, value props and messaging to successfully execute go-to-market campaigns.

  • Running experiments to test hypotheses and bring analytical rigour to campaigns for informing the go-to-market strategy. Delivering campaigns with a strong bias for growth & business impact.

  • Scaling product marketing efforts globally by operationalising resources such as playbooks for regional marketing teams.

  • Identify and closely manage industry-relevant social media channels and strategies to develop our existing processes

  • Manage content production and scheduling to establish a quarterly content delivery scheme.

  • Track trends within the digital landscape – what’s performing well, what are our competitors doing.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a relevant field - preferred.

  • Prior experience as a Marketing Associate, Assistant Brand Manager, Associate Brand Manager or a similar role within the financial sector.

  • Experience with developing financial product positioning.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing campaigns, marketing principles and tools..

  • Sound knowledge of conducting market analysis and interpreting charts and spreadsheets.

  • Ability to multitask while performing within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills.

  • Exceptional time-management and organisational skills.

  • A creative mind with a keen eye for details.
